The Team Behind SPS

  • Taron Shiva

    FOUNDER

    Actor and founder of SPS. He works regularly on professional screen productions and has performed alongside established industry figures including Will Ferrell and R. Madhavan. He created SPS to bridge the gap between traditional training and the realities of professional screen work, with a focus on discipline, truthful performance, and production-led development.

  • Julie Gladin

    FOUNDER

    Singer and vocal coach with over 15 years of professional experience across France and the UK. At SPS, she leads vocal training, supports screen productions, and oversees studio operations, helping ensure the studio runs smoothly and maintains a professional working environment.

  • Kirstin McLean

    GUEST DIRECTOR

    Kirstin McLean is an actress and director with extensive professional experience across Scottish television and theatre. She is best known for her work on Limmy’s Show, Still Game, and River City.

    At SPS, Kirstin joins projects as a guest director, working with actors on original material and scene work. Her role reflects how actors collaborate with directors in professional screen environments, responding to direction, shaping performance, and working within tone and story.

    Her involvement reinforces SPS’s production-led approach, giving actors direct experience of industry-standard working processes.

  • Sanjeev Kohli

    GUEST SPEAKER

    Sanjeev Kohli is an actor and writer best known for his work on Still Game and River City.

    He joined SPS for a one-off guest session, sharing insight into his career, the realities of working in the industry, and the professional mindset required for long-term sustainability as an actor.
